The Sawdust Gang
This is a group that seeks to help those connected to IOH with minor home repair needs they are unable to do themselves or do not have the funds to hire a professional. They also sponsor service days for local mission agencies like Wesley Community Center and Family Promise.
Early Reponse Team (ERT)
To assist those in our community and around the southeast, IOH has formed an Early Response Team that will travel to areas hit by natural disaters. The team participates in mucking out homes, tarping roofs, and minor repairs. The team is open to any adult willing to travel when needed. ERT Training is required to participate. Trainings are available at various times and locations, sponsored by the South Georgia United Methodist Annual conference.
