Join Rev. Meg Procopio for a book study about how the impact of smartphone and social media has impacted adolescent mental health. In Jonathon Haidt's The Anxious Generation he argues that the shift from flip phones to smartphones between 2010 and 2015, coupled with a decline in face-to-face interactions and childhood play, has led to increased mental distress in teenagers.

The book explores how this technology-driven change disrupts development through sleep deprivation, social deprivation, cognitive fragmentation, and addiction. It blends ancient wisdom with modern research to highlight these issues and advocate for change.
