Marla and her husband, Alexander, are both from Savannah and have 2 children, Carson and Mary Paige. She joined the IOHUMC staff in 2017, after working from home for 13 years while her children were younger. Marla describes herself as one of those rare people who loves to balance a checkbook, and appreciates that Finance is usually an easier puzzle to solve than her former career in Psychology or her home life with teenagers.
